I was going through my old notes yesterday and saw this 2-page/back to back notes inserted in one of my notebooks. It made me smile while reading it because it brought me back to my first memory of Paris, and gosh! I miss Europe! I miss the beauty of old buildings in Paris and I miss the festive feels of this beautiful city.
Yes, I got another personal project going on and this time, I got my eyes on a new fitness tracker. I’m currently using the Fitbit Charge 2 which I got in January 2017, just in time when I was starting an active life. I’ve been using this non-stop since day 1 and I’m very impressed. I ditched my fashion watches and just got some coloured straps to make it more fashionable.
Now, it’s been 2 years and the fitness tracker is in pretty good condition but my only issue now is the battery life because I noticed that I have to charge it every other day.
I’m thrilled that I finally get to watch Maroon 5 live last night!!! Oh-Em-Geeee!!
As you all know, I love Maroon 5 and of course, Adam Levine. When we found out about their show last year, I told my husband that I want to watch the concert so bad! I keep asking him about it and the night before my birthday, he gave me the tickets!!
I keep mentioning self-care in the past months thru my channels because I believe that developing self-care habits is vital in everyone’s life, regardless of your job. We need to spend some me-time in order to bring serenity in our busy lives. I will use myself as an example – I don’t have an 8-5 job but my schedule is occupied with house chores & I too, got deadlines for each chore. In my case, cleaning, cooking & taking care of clothes are just some of the never-ending chores that I do and there are times when I feel exhausted & tired too. And at this age, I can honestly say that I believe in the saying “YOU CANNOT POUR FROM AN EMPTY CUP.”
Happy 2019!!! Been MIA because we just got back from the holidays and it’s been wonderful! I wasn’t entirely away from social media, but I was less visible. We just enjoyed our time catching up with families and friends, so in the coming days, I’m gonna share the photos and stories here.
For now, I just want to share my goals for this year and who knows? Maybe you can add some of them in your own list! 🙂
I can’t remember the exact date, but I’m pretty sure this happened between 2010 & 2011 when my friend and I bought a 30-day pass in a prestigious gym in Manila. Hulaan niyo na lang which one, hehe. If I remember it correctly, the voucher was around 1500 PHP and you’ll have a full access to their facilities for a month, so not bad right? Besides, it’s hard to commit when you’re not even sure if you really want the service, etc.. etc.. but the truth is, we’re just not sure that we’ll like working out. Alam mo naman tayo, pretentious minsan or, shall I say, madalas. Ito yung kasagsagan or unang bugso ng wellness industry and almost every yuppie attends either a Zumba, pilates or yoga class at least once a week or twice a month.
I think MOST women can relate to me when I say that for us (in general) the lower the scale number, the better because that’s what how we see it growing up. In the past, would randomly check the scale (at least 2x/week on Mon & Fri) and feel bad whenever my scale register goes up a bit or if my number was not moving for days.
