My wellness journey thought me a lot of things and some of the most important ones are patience & humility. Each person’s wellness journey is unique & there’s no such thing as one size, fits all. You have to learn & discover what suits you. Be proud, but also remain humble.Acknowledge that you don’t know everything & that you may need some help & support. I take pride to acknowledge the people who inspire me, help me & make me push for more. Some of them, we dont know each other personally, but they are part of my support system. These, everything that I have now – It’s a process & we all keep learning as we move on.
Also, we must not forget that every person has a story to tell & struggles to deal with & they may not openly share it to the public & thats okay. What applies to me may not apply to you & vice versa. Your decisions, your ways, your responsibilities.
The HARD TRUTH is that people with normal & perfect health can never understand what the people with health issues go thru. It’s easier to speak a lot of things if you haven’t been on that side. Like I always say, it’s easy for them to say that “moderation is the key” but I personally can’t do that. I got own my health issues and that phrase dont apply to me anymore. I tried! but my body simply can’t handle it. Others choose to enjoy a little & suffer a little, but I don’t. I’m the type of person na marunong madala. Again, personal choices and that’s okay.
But now, I prefer to spend my money on healthy food than meds.
