Too Faced_Metallic Chocolate Diamonds Review

Described as a beige-brown with a glittery/metallic finishThis was not as opaque as I was expecting, more of a gloss with lots of glitters.

I used a lip liner before I applied the Metallic Chocolate Diamonds

✔︎ Delicious chocolate smell
✔︎ Nice packaging
✔︎ Easy to apply
✔︎ no bleeding
✔︎ Can be used alone or apply on top of your favourite lip liner/lipstick

uncomfortable dragging/pulling of the lips when applying because of the glitters.

⤬ I am not a fan of the scent but it goes away after a while.

⤬ The brand is not readily available locally (SG) but there are ways to order as mentioned above.

These metallic lipsticks can be worn alone, or on top of your favourite lip liner/lipstick and if I were to rank these brands based on overall performance, it will be:

  1. Ofra
  2. Colourpop
  3. Too Faced

Battle of Metallic Lips_berryduchess

Coloupop has the advantage when it comes to price but I still chose Ofra as my no. 1 because they are the creamiest and most comfortable to wear. It may have faded after having meals but left a good stain and reapplication was not a problem. As for my pick amongst these 6 shades, it will be Ofra’s Santorini because even after this trend ends, I can still wear it.

The trend for summer 2016 is all about the metallics – golds & rose golds in particular and  honestly, they are not my cup of tea. After testing these, I’m really convinced that I’m a  liquid matte lipstick lady.😄
